Explorer, Educator, Environmentalist Will Steger to Speak at 2009 National Retailer Conference

We are pleased to announce that explorer Will Steger has been added to our program.  Steger is a recognized authority on the Earth’s Polar Regions, including their environmental issues. He has spent over 45-years traveling in the Arctic and Antarctic and became known for his 1986 expedition, which was the first dogsled journey to the North Pole without re-supply. With his ability to blend extreme exploration and cutting-edge technology, Steger pioneered online education during his 1995 traverse of the Arctic – reaching more than 20-million students via online daily journals and delivering the first-ever transmission of digital photography from the North Pole.
